Did you know 99.9% of compromised accounts could have been protected by multi-factor authentication?*

What is Multi-factor Authentication?

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is a second layer of security paired with a username and password. Typically, after entering your username and password for an account, you will also receive an email, text message, phone call, or prompt to authorize and confirm your identity.

Why is MFA Important?

A username and password are not sufficient enough to protect you against cyber-attacks. MFA offers a two-step verification process that provides additional security by verifying your identity. This has been proven successful in stopping hackers from accessing your account. In fact, it is so successful that USLI will require of MFA for all insureds receiving cyber coverage.

Not sure how to implement MFA?

There are many ways to protect your business with MFA. Start by reaching out to your IT professional and ask which form of MFA works best for you. Most cloud-based services have the capability for this type of implementation as part of their license. Other types of MFA may charge a nominal fee.
